Meet Grant Quintero – one of our “boots on the ground.” Grant is an accomplished superintendent for Ameris and one of the newest faces on our team.

Grant joins Ameris with 10 years of experience in the construction world in the San Francisco Bay area, having been on and around construction sites from the age of 14 – starting as a laborer, he learned the trade from the bottom up. He has been a part of many different styles of builds, but found his niche in multi-family projects. He has overseen 5 projects from dirt lot to move-in ready, 3 of those being commercial multi-family projects. His experience spans luxury apartments to workforce housing, and everything in between. 

“You’re not building a home for just one single family – you’re building a community for 20-30, maybe even 40 families who will all be living right next to each other. Sharing walls, the ceiling above and floor below. In that style of build, not only are you building a community and providing housing for ‘the greater good,’ but you’re also protecting that many more families. From overseeing that everything is structurally sound all the way to the fire code, you are making sure that many more people are taken care of in their homes,” Grant said. His priority is to ensure the completion of safe, sustainable, multi-family community builds.

Being a younger face in the industry, we are excited for a fresh perspective and energy on our team. Grant is currently overseeing our Brunton Management 7th St. Apartments project.

“With my generation, it worries me that there aren’t as many folks who have the wisdom and know-how on the way the industry has always done it,” Grant said. “But at the same time, I’m excited to see what kind of technology and newer tools we are bringing to the table to make things more efficient.”

As a superintendent, Grant is on site, overseeing the day-to-day operations and details of each project. “I take pride in overseeing the productivity and quality of each project. Not only does that quality reflect on me professionally, but it also allows me to over-deliver for my company and ultimately the owner of the project,” Grant said.

Looking toward the future of the industry, Ameris is leading the way with a prefabricated cold formed steel solution. We are confident that Grant will jump into the industrialized construction space as it changes the face of the current construction marketplace. As Ameris continues to utilize sustainable, net zero, and industrialized construction methods, we eagerly anticipate taking on bigger and better builds in the near future with Grant on board.
